Everyone is always concerned about what their first dance as husband and wife should be, but how many people actually put some thought into what the last dance of the evening should be?
The last dance of the night is a perfect way to cap off a night of partying and goof ole fashioned hootenanny fun, so think carefully about how you're sending your guests (and yourself) off into the sunset.
Here's a list of songs that we think are perfect ways to end the night.
The Piano Man; Billy Joel
We've said it once, we'll say it again; "At Lauren and Dennis' weddings, we filmed one of the coolest ways to end a wedding". Group sing along! Everyone knows and loves this little diddy by one of our generation's greatest ivory tickler. Check it out.
New York, New York; Frank Sinatra
Perfect for those die hard Yankee fans or couples who generally like New York. Might not be the best choice of song for, say, a wedding in Minnesota or Texas, but we liked it so much that we used it for our last wedding song. Also gets bonus points for the sing along factor and, if you have the Bob Shepherd "Good Night and Drive Home Safely" audio clip, you get extra bonus points from your Yankee loving father-in-law. Classy.
(I've Had) The Time of My Life; Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes
Classic last song for a wedding, great way to end the night, song says it all. And for a newer, fresher version of this song, check out the Black Eyed Peas verision.
