Wedding Ideas: Great Keepsake Idea

We recently filmed Arietti and Alex's wedding, which had a baseball theme.

The cake topper was a combination of a bride holding a bat while the groom held the ball in the "stretch" position as if he was looking to get a sign from the catcher.

Each table, instead of the traditional numbered arrangement, was named after a baseball stadium.

The head table was, of course, Yankee Stadium since the bride and groom were both huge Yankee fans.

When I asked Alex if there was a Citi Field or a Fenway Park, he said there was, but only because some of the guests were Mets and Red Sox fans.

Instead of having a guest book at the entrance to the reception hall, Arietti and Alex hung a Yankee uniform for guests to leave their good-wishes.

At the end of the night, the entire party formed a circle and sang (and leg kicked) Frank Sinatra's famous "New York, New York". They chose the song because it's played at the end of every Yankee victory.
