Wedding 911 by The Knot

This is a great app and was very helpful when we were planning our wedding. Made by the folks from The Knot, otherwise known as the holy bible for brides to be, this app has everything from Etiquette advice to money saving ideas. There's a community based question and answer message board with the app, but be forewarned, not everyone on the app is technically a bride, so you'll run into trollers and rabble-rousers.

iWedding Deluxe - the Wedding Planner

Don't let the price scare you, especially if you're a bride that has her iPhone permanently attached to her hand. The iWedding Deluxe allows for you to create a guest list, seating arrangements with food choices, and has a section dedicated to keeping all of your important day-of information right at your fingertips. There's plenty of For the price, we would have liked to see the ability to export your guest list added to the app.

iBride Wedding Planner

It's not the best app in the world, but it does one this extremely well; help you locate local vendors (as long as your city is in the app, it's missing major cities like New Orleans and Orlando, according to reviewers). The app is designed to act as a planner and a directory, but it clearly functions better as the later. You can browse local vendors and should be able call them directly from the app. Overall, the concept behind the app is brilliant, but it seems like it was rushed out and hasn't had an update since.

The Wedding Checklist

This is a pretty darn good wedding iPhone app. It's very similar to the online version of The Knot's website, giving you the ability to see tasks in advance and the ability to properly plan ahead. The description states that there's over 3770 pre-populated items (locations, minister info, photographer info, dress info, etc) and you have the ability to add your own items. This app re-defines thorough, almost to a fault. If you're not the micromanaging type, this app may be a little overwhelming.
